Imployable: Web and mobile design & development for SaaS

Overview

Imployable is a career guidance platform that supports people from first touch through long-term progression - spanning marketing pages, a feature-rich web application, and mobile clients. Dexis partnered with the team to align product positioning, interface design, and engineering so the experience feels consistent whether someone lands on the site, works in the browser, or uses the app on the go.

Imployable case study - UX and product surfaces

Challenge

The product had to serve job seekers, coaches, and employer-facing workflows without fragmenting the journey: discovery, sign-up, daily tasks, and follow-ups needed to feel like one system. That meant tightening IA and UI patterns for desktop-first work, while keeping mobile surfaces fast and readable - and keeping releases predictable as the roadmap grew.

Product & UX

We helped shape clear navigation, dashboards, and task flows around career planning, learning content, and progress tracking. The interface balances dense information with scannable layouts: strong typography, consistent components, and states for loading, empty, and error paths so users always know what to do next. Marketing and product share a common visual language so brand trust carries through into the app.

Tech stack - Angular, Stripe, Firebase, JSON Web Token, OpenCage Data, YouTube, Swift, Kotlin, php 8.1, Amazon Web Services, Material, PostgreSQL, PrimeNG, Bootstrap and Highcharts; country: United Kingdom; web plus applications for end-to-end digital employment solutions Product surfaces - career insights, job search, support, CV builder and coaching videos across the candidate and company dashboards, serving 10k+ users and 500+ companies

Engineering

Delivery focused on a modern Angular - based web application integrated with backend services and third-party APIs, alongside native-quality mobile builds for iOS and Android. We emphasized modular architecture, typed contracts for APIs, and CI-friendly pipelines so features could ship in parallel - web, mobile, and server - without blocking each other. Performance budgets, caching, and careful bundle strategy keep the desktop app responsive on real-world networks.

Outcome

The result is a coherent product family: users recognise Imployable across touchpoints, teams can ship iteratively, and the codebase is structured to add modules (reporting, integrations, new career tools) without reworking the foundation each time.

Project team - project manager, business analyst, UI/UX designer, DevOps engineer, back-end and front-end developers, iOS and Android developers and a QA engineer; Imployable was built with a user-centered design approach shaped by research and testing Results - a user-friendly platform addressing key challenges in career management, with over 10k users and 500+ active companies, plus partnerships with educational providers

Launch-ready delivery

We supported structured QA on critical paths, release checklists, and documentation so Imployable’s team could operate confidently after handover - including clear boundaries between design system, app modules, and integration points for future partners and features.
