Overview
fyio is built to help people and teams organise what matters - vital documents, renewals, and everyday paperwork - without losing track of deadlines or compromising security. Based in the United Kingdom, the product brings together a consumer-style mobile experience and operator-facing admin so the same story holds from first install to ongoing use. Dexis partnered with fyio to evolve the product beyond an early MVP: clearer information architecture, a credible mobile and web stack, and delivery discipline as features and compliance expectations grew.
Challenge
When life and work documents live across folders, inboxes, and ad-hoc shares, the risks are familiar: missed deadlines, hard - to - prove authenticity, and data exposure when files move through the wrong channels. fyio’s challenge was to turn that chaos into a calm, repeatable system - reminders people actually see, storage people trust, and flows that make sharing and verification straightforward on real devices in the wild.
Solution
The fyio proposition centres on three pillars that match how users describe the product: sharing and reminders so nothing critical slips; easy storage and management so documents are findable and structured; and secure store and share so data stays protected end to end. We translated those pillars into concrete journeys - onboarding, libraries, notifications, and controlled sharing - so the app stays approachable while the surface area of the product expands.
Platform & engineering
On the engineering side, fyio combines a modern web and admin layer (including Angular and PrimeNG) with Node.js and NestJS services, Spring where it fits existing integrations, and native-quality iOS and Android builds (Swift and Kotlin). Infrastructure spans Kubernetes, AWS, and MySQL - chosen to support reliability, scaling, and a clear separation between client apps, APIs, and data. That stack mirrors the case deck: one coherent platform rather than a patchwork of one-off tools.
Outcome
Together we pushed fyio from a basic MVP toward a product recognised in the market: fyio has been named among the TechRound 100, reflecting traction and narrative as much as code. In the apps, users get practical flows for verification, sharing, and QR-driven handoffs - the kinds of details that turn a document vault into something people use week after week. The founder’s feedback (see below) highlights close collaboration, strong technical depth, and dependable delivery - the outcomes we optimise for on engagements like this.

Delivery & handover
We treated release quality as non-negotiable: automated builds where they add leverage, structured QA on critical paths, and documentation so fyio’s team can extend modules without rediscovering decisions. Delivery stayed modular by design - APIs and UI boundaries that allow new document types, partner integrations, or policy changes without rewrites. That sets up fyio to keep shipping after handover while Dexis remains available for deeper initiatives when needed.
