Match-making - presentation hero: positioning and product story

Match-making - dating & connection product

Overview

This deck captures a match-making / dating product direction: positioning, experience principles, and how the story should read to stakeholders. It is illustration-forward by design; on the site we render the same narrative as structured text plus raster slices so the story stays readable in any browser.

Business idea - the client wanted social networking to balance a safe place for people in the same place to connect instantly with a way to generate revenue, staying as close to meeting someone in real life as possible Project outcome - users can set the app as their default SMS/MMS handler to reach non-app users when in danger or offline, with end-to-end encryption via X3DH, Double Ratchet, Curve25519, AES-256 and HMAC-SHA256

Positioning & narrative

We framed the product around clear user jobs: discovery, trust-building, and ongoing connection - so the deck could serve both pitch conversations and internal alignment. Visual density is intentional; the sections below map to the original vertical flow of the one-page deck.

Experience & delivery

Project results - users check in to a venue, see others logged in nearby, swipe to find a match and chat to meet in person; an instant selfie on check-in plus a machine-learning check rule out catfishing Tech stack - Kotlin, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Heroku, Facebook SDK, Google Play services authentication, Amazon services, Google Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, RecyclerView, TensorFlow, Keras, Google Maps, Firebase Analytics, TensorFlow Lite and Rackspace Country: United Kingdom; industry: media and entertainment
