Overview
Digital banking in this engagement is a full-stack software product aimed at legal entities: remote services, strong security, and fault tolerance, with pre-built components that still allow deep customisation - so a bank can launch a credible online channel for corporate clients in a controlled timeframe.

Challenge
Corporate banking online must balance speed to market with auditability, authorisation models, and integration with existing core and risk systems. The product needed contextual search across historical documents, robust authentication, real-time balances, multi-party payments and signing flows, foreign-currency operations, and compliant messaging - without sacrificing operator clarity or client trust.
Platform capabilities
Authentication & authorisation builds on Keycloak, with 2FA via SMS or certificates and options such as PayControl-class login flows. Accounts and payments cover real-time balances, payments to individuals and businesses, international transfers, custom payment numbering, and execution notifications.
Transaction history and reporting unify feeds with full-text search, statements, bulk signing, and exports. Foreign currency supports FCY accounts, SWIFT-style transfers, automated currency documents, and online conversion. Integration and communication include counterparty checks (e.g. SKB Kontur-style verification), multi-channel notifications (banners, in-app, SMS, e-mail), and secure internal correspondence.
Users and organisations can manage multiple legal entities under one login, maintain profiles and login history, and apply role-based access with integration to banking cores such as SmartVista.

Technology & architecture
The frontend uses TypeScript, React, Redux Toolkit, RTK Query, testing with React Testing Library and Jest, i18n, LESS, MUI, Webpack, Module Federation, React Hook Form, Keycloak JS, and ESLint.
The backend is Java 17+ on Spring (Cloud, Data, Integration), with Elasticsearch, Kafka, REST APIs, Keycloak, and PostgreSQL.
Services are composed as microservices with adapters, exposed behind WAF/proxy layers toward bank systems as shown in the architecture narrative.
Technology Stack
Outcome
The solution is positioned to strengthen remote banking for corporates while keeping security and compliance in focus: faster payments, scalable customisation, reduced operational drag, and a base that can evolve with business and regulatory change - backed by source deliverables and documentation where the engagement requires it.
Delivery model
Typical delivery follows research and design, then development and testing, then implementation - with a reference timeline of about six months for the full programme, adjusted to your governance and vendor landscape.
